House Concert 4-10-09 045I’ll admit it: When the ukulele craze started catching-on a few years ago, I kind of made fun of it. I’m not sure why–but I did.

The other day I was seduced by the uke’s sound & vibe I had something of an epiphany which resulted in this tenor uke “following me home.”

Guess I’ll keep it.

  • Outstanding, Rob! I started on uke @ age 6 - got 1st guitar @ age 14, still have my 1949 Favilla all mahogany uke (my grandma got it to replace a plastic one that melted in the rear window of the car) in perfect condition, too. Hahaha... I think Train's "Soul Sister" drove home "the craze." Nice work. :)
  • Thanks Zeek! I'm not sure how much more solo uke I'll wind up playing, but I am enjoying this as a layering instrument used in conjunction with guitars.
