I recorded this piece as an experiment sometime around 2001. I played all of the parts on guitar. Good fun!

Originally composed for the organ, this piece goes well beyond the range of the guitar: I kept tuning lower and lower. I had to give in and use a bass for a few of the phrases.

This has always been one of my favorite Bach pieces. It sounds
    wonderful on guitar.

Soothing perfection. I love base sounds and the contrasts in this presentation is like a cool drink of water.I could picture the instrument and your fingers in movement as I listened. I could carry the sound with me and walk off into the horizen. Would need nothing else. Thank you.

Oh man that is super nice! I could so relax to that and take on a good book! Excellent job!

  4. Kathryn Esplin says:

Wow, a gorgeous rendition. Bach is perfect for the guitar, as the guitar has the more primitive and rich sound similar to the clavier or harpsichord, compared to the pianoforte.

I enjoyed this very, very much. I love Bach and all Baroque and Classical composers, and you play very, very well.

Outstanding.  I is hard to believe that only one guitar played this.
