It happens quite a bit and I never get tired of it, in fact, I **love it** when I’m hanging in my studio and people bring unusual guitars to share with me!
Today, my friend Kevin came in with an Old Growth Redwood Telecaster. It’s a fairly new guitar and one that I had never even heard of.

The wood is soft. I feel like I could dig my fingernail right into the wood leaving a permanent divit. It sounds darker than an average tele, but it won’t be mistaken for anything other than a Telecaster.
