It used to be so difficult and expensive. Want to make a pro-level audio recording? You need to own over $100k worth of gear. Want to make a video? That’s way more and the technical requirements were beyond the reach of most mortals. It’s certainly not that way anymore. Record your album on your smartphone or computer with software that costs little or nothing. I use Ableton Live for my audio needs, but less-expensive options are amazingly great!
